Uneasy Street is a great conclusion to Becky Wade’s Sons of Scandal series. I absolutely loved Max and Sloane’s story. It was full of heart, growth, and redemption. Max did all he could to make amends with Sloane, and his determination to win back her trust was both moving and admirable. Sloane challenged Max in all the best ways, and watching them fight off their undeniable spark made for such an engaging read. I love seeing how their past shaped who they are now. It made the story even richer. I’m honestly sad this series is over! These characters have captured my heart, and this final book was the perfect blend of romance, hope and healing.
