Back to School Challenge – Day 1

For the next 21 days, we are going to pray for our children as they head Back to school.  Each day you will receive a Scripture verse and a prayer to pray. The prayer includes a space for you to fill in your children’s name.

Day 1: Praying for Diligence

Scripture verse:Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.” Colossians 3:23

Prayer: Lord, please help ______________________ grow in diligence this school year. Let everything _________________ does be done as working for you rather than for people. In the moments that ___________ works for others instead of for You, Holy Spirit please prompt and remind him/her that it is all about working for You, Lord. Thank you for the ways that _________________ will grow in diligence this year. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Praying for Bus 31 kidos: Elementary and Middle Schoolers. With Pandemic still in full swing we have fewer kids and more space in Bus.

Lord you know each child help me impact them for you. Help my efforts in being genuine and real in spite of my need to focus on driving the bus. Lord thank you for the positive aspect of smaller numbers aiding the ability to be more focused towards each child. Guide each parent as they teach their children to be ‘other’s focused and adhearance to Pandemic social distancing. Lord distancing isn’t our 1st choice for you made us with a need for others. Help us accomplish connectivity in spite of the world’s pandemic. Lord you are the author and finisher of our lives, may we surrender all aspects to your living care. We ask all this in Jesus precious name AMEN
