Basketball, Hearts 2.0 and Spring Hair

Wow! It’s already April! We enjoyed a full but fun February. How did your February go? Today is my monthly Friday Favorites post where I share my five favorite things from the previous month. Basketball, Hearts 2.0 and Spring Hair are just a few of my favorite things from this past month. Read on to see what my other favorites are.

Retreat

Each year I host two Scrapbook & Craft Retreats. At the beginning of March, I hosted the Spring Retreat. It’s always fun to get away and hang out with awesome ladies. Oh and get work done too. πŸ™‚

Hearts 2.0

The following weekend, I headed out with friends from my Moms Group to attend Hearts at Home 2.0. The weekend was packed with fun, encouragement, and laughs. I am so thrilled that Hearts 2.0 is back. Hearts at Home has rebranded and is now called Ignite the Family. Please take the time to check out their website!

Basketball

Nathan played basketball with his school this month. It was a short season but so much fun. I loved watching him learn how to play on a team and grow in his abilities.

The last game of the playoffs Nathan’s team was ahead. At the last second, the other team scored and they went into overtime. It was an intense game overall but especially nerve-wracking at the end.

Nathan’s team played well together and within the last seconds of overtime, Nathan got the winning shot. It was AMAZING! (See below)

New Ice Cream

Towards the end of the month, I headed to Target because I needed to use a gift card. I picked out the Mary Poppins Returns DVD. Since I had a few dollars left to spend, I randomly looked at the ice cream in case I could find something that worked with my dairy, chicken egg and gluten allergies. What a pleasant surprise to find a new to me brand. Below is the one I tried. Yummy! I can’t wait to try the other flavors.

Spring Hair

My hair was healthy enough for highlights. So, my hairstylist gave me some options for highlights. After looking at several options, I told my stylist that I completely trusted her. I LOVE how my hair turned out!
