Egg Roll in a Bowl
Egg Rolls! I absolutely love them. But after discovering all of my allergies, egg rolls were one of those foods I could never have again. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. Fast forward several years where I discovered one of my new favorites – Egg Roll in a Bowl!! Oh my goodness… it is so good! I love how it tastes exactly like an egg roll minus the fried outside. It quickly became a family favorite. I hope you enjoy this recipe!
Egg Roll in a Bowl
The yummy flavor of an egg roll in a bowl! Low carb and Gluten free.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 9 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 1/2 cups shredded carrots 2-3 carrots
- 4 tsp gluten-free soy sauce
Instructions
- Cook ground beef and onions until browned.
- Add spices and beef broth. Stir well.
- Add the cabbage and stir.
- Cook stirring frequently until cabbage wilts.
- Add carrots and cook until soft. (2-3 minutes)
- Add soy sauce and stir.
- Serve in a bowl and enjoy!
