Wow! It’s already November! We enjoyed a full but fun October. How did your October go? Today is my monthly Friday Favorites post where I share my five favorite things from the previous month. Football, New Website Launch, and Fall Celebrations are just a few of my favorite things from this past month. Read on to see what my other favorites are.
Nathan was part of the JFL, Junior Football League, in our area. This was his first year and he did a great job. Nathan’s last game of the season was October 6. I love watching him play this season especially when he caught the ball in the end zone for a touchdown.
On October 9, my new website was launched. I am so thrilled for all the changes. My desire was to create a space where it was easy for you, my dear readers, to navigate and find what you were looking for. I really enjoyed doing giveaways and Facebook Live. Thanks to all who participated.
A week later, I started a 21 Day email challenge with a group of women. We are Falling in Love with God’s Word by reading some scripture every day and sharing together what we are learned. It’s been amazing digging into God’s word and connecting with these women.
Our daughter Analiah turned 8 years old. It was fun to celebrate her. We headed to Sweet Frog for the traditional birthday ice cream. Analiah also enjoyed shopping for clothes for a birthday gift. Afterward, we headed to the Park at our church to play. It was a fun day. We are so thankful for Analiah. She brings so much joy to our family!
Our oldest daughter Micaela and I attended the Shine Retreat which was hosted by our church. It was for Mothers and Daughters that are 11 years old or older. It was a powerful time to connect with Micaela and talk about purity, dating, etc. I am thankful that our church put this on.
Last weekend was filled with lots of fall fun. On Friday, we headed to an area church for a Fall Carnival. The kids had a blast. On Saturday, we headed to Kerchers Orchard to pick out pumpkins. On Sunday, we carved the pumpkins and ate yummy snacks. It was a fun way to celebrate fall.
I hope you enjoyed reading about the five things I am grateful for this past month. It was fun writing about it all. How about you? What are you grateful for this past month? I would love to hear about your month. Please share in the comments below. Have a great weekend!
