Wow! It’s already November! We enjoyed a full but fun October. How did your October go? Today is my monthly Friday Favorites post where I share my five favorite things from the previous month. International Expo, Mochas, and Fashion Farm are just a few of my favorite things from this past month. Read on to see what my other favorites are.
Nathan’s class hosted an International Expo in early October. Each student did a project on a country that was from their heritage. My husband Jonathan has some Welsh background, so Nathan picked the country of Wales. He worked hard and did a great job! It was so fun to hear about all the different countries from his classmates. We also enjoyed a potluck meal with dishes of all kinds.
Analiah turned seven on October 13. We had lots of fun celebrating her! Analiah enjoyed dinner, dessert and time at the park with her friends for her party. On her actual birthday, Analiah chose Sweet Frog ice cream for her dessert. Yummy!
Yay! Salted Caramel Mochas are back! I love this Starbucks drink. It’s so yummy! I love to read and relax while sipping on my mocha.
Our kids have a week off school for Fall Break. We had so much fun! It was great to sleep in and have a more relaxed schedule. I loved being able to have more focused time to dig deep with our kids. We also enjoyed Monopoly even though the Corbin kid rules are a bit off. 🙂
This year we went different place for our pumpkins. We are all SO glad we tried Fashion Farm which is located in a nearby town. There were so many fun activities and the pumpkins were amazing! The hayride around their 26 acres of pumpkins was pretty cool too. Two thumbs up from our crew!
I hope you enjoyed reading about the five things I am grateful for this past month. It was fun writing about it all. How about you? What are you grateful for this past month? I would love to hear about your month. Please share in the comments below. Have a great weekend!
