Movies, Paint and the Refuel Conference
Wow! It’s already February! We enjoyed a full but fun January. How did your January go? Today is my monthly Friday Favorites post where I share my five favorite things from the previous month. Movies, Paint and the Refuel Conference are just a few of my favorite things from this past month. Read on to see what my other favorites are.
Movies
Jonathan and I went to see the movie The Greatest Showman. Wow!! What a movie. The story was powerful!! I would go see it again in a heartbeat. Actually, we plan to pick it up when it comes out.
Paint
January was the month of painting in our house. Jonathan has done an amazing job!! It’s so awesome to have new colors everywhere we turn. I am so thankful for Jonathan’s expertise in painting.
Refuel Worship Conference
The Refuel Worship Conference was held at Bethel College in Mishawaka, Indiana. The goal of this conference is to refresh and equip worship leaders. I absolutely loved this time away. The worship was my favorite part. The main sessions and workshops were amazing also. I walked away refreshed and encouraged.
Books
I love to read!! This past month I finished up Intentional Living by John C. Maxwell which I had started in December of last year. This book… WOW! I highly recommend it. You will be changed. In January, I starting The Magnolia Story by Chip and Joanna Gaines. I had heard so much about this book. I am so glad I picked it up. It has been funny, challenged and refreshing all at the same time. Another book I recently started is Put the Disciple into Discipline by Erin MacPherson and Ellen Schuknecht. I pretty much underlined the whole Introduction. Yes, it’s that good! I look forward to reading more.
Martial Arts Class
Our whole family is in the process of taking five classes of Taekwondo. Success Martial Arts ran a Christmas special with a 5 class package. We thought it would be fun to take it as a family. The first class was a lot of fun but also very challenging. I know this will be a great experience for us all.
I hope you enjoyed reading about the five things I am grateful for this past month. It was fun writing about it all. How about you? What are you grateful for this past month? I would love to hear about your month. Please share in the comments below. Have a great weekend!
