My sheep listen to my voice
We are surrounded by voices all day long. Some are audible, such as friends, family, coworkers, and the media. Others are in our own heads: fears, doubts, or the lies we’ve believed.
But Jesus promises that His sheep will know His voice. The more time we spend in the Word, the easier it becomes to discern His gentle whisper above all the noise. God’s voice always leads to life, peace, and truth.
The question is: Which voice will you follow today?
For me, I choose Jesus, my Shepherd. He knows me by name, and when I follow Him, I find deep rest for my soul and direction for my next steps.
I encourage you to take a moment today to pause and listen. Ask the Lord to help you recognize His voice and then follow wherever He leads you.
“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.” John 10:27
