A Vision Board, Unscripted, and Refuel Conference | January Favorites
Wow! It's already February! We enjoyed a full but fun January. How did your January go? Today is my monthly Friday Favorites post where I share my five favorite things from the previous month. Creating a Vision Board, Unscripted, and Refuel Conference are just a few of my favorite things from this past month. Read on to see what my other favorites are. I'll also share about a book I read this month.
New Year's Day Dinner
One of our family's New Year's Day traditions is to go out to dinner. We enjoyed eating at Buffalo Wild Wings. It was great to connect with one another and eat yummy food. We also enjoyed talking about things we would like to do in 2022.

Creating A Vision Board
I love creating a vision board. Several years ago, I learned about the importance of vision boards from my friend Talie. Each year, I take time to think about the things I want to change, improve, or even get rid of. I gather pictures of my vision for the year and create a vision board. It was so fun to put together. I can't wait to see what God does this year!
Unscripted
Each month our Women's Ministry hosts an event called Unscripted. It is a time when we can connect with a smaller group and get to know the ladies in our church. My friends Tara, Megan and I were in charge of planning it. We had snacks, did some questions to reflect on 2021, and played Bingo. At the end of the evening, I shared about 7 things God wants for you this year. It was a special time to connect with the ladies from my church.

Micaela teaching Caleb piano
Our youngest son Caleb, who is 9 years old, really wanted to learn how to play the piano. And he wanted to start learning right at the moment he talked about it. :) We talked about looking into piano lessons. A day or so later, Micaela our oldest, who is 15, told Caleb she would teach him how to play the piano. She spent time teaching him the keys. It was so precious!
Refuel Conference
The Refuel Conference is designed for worship leaders to be refreshed and you guessed it, refueled! I love this conference! I definitely walked away encouraged and refueled. The Worship was incredible and a taste of heaven. The breakout sessions were challenging and also encouraging. I can't wait for next year's conference!

One of my goals this year is to read one non-fiction book a month. In January, I read Take Back Your Time by Christy Wright. This book…WOW! It was SO good and I highly recommend it!! Christy begins the book by redefining balance. She also helps us to see that balance is different for each person. It is not a one size fits all. In the next several chapters, Christy guides you on the Path to Balance in your life which consists of 5 Steps. Friends, I HIGHLY recommend this book!! Check it out today.
I hope you enjoyed reading about the five things I am grateful for this past month. It was fun writing about it all. How about you? What are you grateful for this past month? I would love to hear about your month. Please share in the comments below. Have a great weekend!
