When You Just Want to Feel Loved
“You are precious to me. You are honored, and I love you.” –Isaiah 43:4, NLT
The sting of rejection. Not good enough. Always trying to measure up. When you just want to feel loved. These emotions are familiar to many of us. We all have been rejected in some way. How do we move past the rejection? How do we feel fully loved?
I believe the only way to have the full acceptance and feel loved is by walking in God’s truth of who you are. In Him, we are fully loved. Here is some truth from God’s word to remind what God thinks about you.
-
You are precious.
“You are precious to me. You are honored, and I love you.” –Isaiah 43:4, NLT
-
You are beautiful.
“The king is enthralled by your beauty.” –Psalm 45:11
-
You are created exactly the way God wanted you to be.
“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” –Psalm 139:14
-
You are loved.
“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!” -1 John 3:1
-
You are royalty, a daughter of the King of Kings.
“You will be a crown of splendor in the Lord’s hand, a royal diadem in the hand of your God. –Isaiah 62:3
-
You are fully accepted.
“Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.” –Romans 15:7
-
You are forgiven.
“As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.” –Psalm 103:12
-
You are made new.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! -2 Corinthians 5:17
The next time you struggle believing you are loved, valued and good enough, I encourage you to read these scripture verses. They are God’s truth so that means they are TRUTH! Nothing you do or have done can take this truth away. No matter what someone in your life has said about you, God’s truth trumps it all. My prayer for you is that God’s truth will sink deep into your heart today and every day.
Heavenly Father, wow! Your love for me is so deep. Please help the truth of Your word sink even deeper into my heart. When I start to feel unloved, please bring me back to the truth of who You say that I am. I love You, Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Thank you for this Anastasia.
These are words that I am always speaking into others. It was so nice to feel like someone was speaking them back to me.
I needed these reminders today.
God’s truth is powerful! Much love to you Christy!
