One Way to Bless Your Child’s Teacher + {A FREE printable}
She arrived that morning to help in the classroom. That in itself was a huge blessing. But the even greater gift was this parent brought me my favorite fruit smoothie from a local coffee shop. God used this parent to bless me.
Just that morning, I sat with my head in my hands and prayed: “God, this is so different from 6th grade. I desperately need your encouragement and wisdom” That particular morning, I felt discouraged and wondered if I could do this. It was my first year teaching 2nd grade after teaching 6th grade for three years.
Appreciation
As a former teacher myself, I understand the power of appreciation. This parent did simple things that made my day more than once throughout the school year. Besides bringing me my favorite fruit smoothie again, she also introduced me to one of my favorite snacks: peanut butter on graham crackers. These simple gifts blessed me in so many ways. Other parents also supported me well throughout that year by sending in simple gifts.
