Pedicures, MomCon and a Wax Warmer

It has been a full but fun week around here. How has yours been? Pedicures, MomCon and a Wax Warmer are just a few of my favorite things from this week. Read on to see what my other favorites are.

Wax Warmer

I received this as a birthday gift and LOVE it! Our house smells so good! The current wax is β€œMulled Cider.” My kids wondered what I was baking. Jonathan asked for a cup of cider when he smelled it. Micaela, our 10-year-old daughter, loves to turn on the warmer she enjoys it so much. Next up is the β€œPecan Pumpkin Cake” scent.

MomCon 2016

It’s been almost a week since I came home from MomCon Conference but I am still thinking about all that I have learned. MomCon is the MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) conference held once a year. My co-author Natalie and I hosted a booth in the Marketplace. We enjoyed sharing about our devotional with fellow Moms. I also really enjoyed the time with my MOPS friends, the workshops, main sessions, and worship. This is an experience I will be unpacking for a while.

Fresh Flowers

One of my new favorite things to do while grocery shopping is to pick up a bouquet of flowers. There is just something about fresh flowers! This week, I loved the selection of Fall color bouquets. These flowers are on my dining room table. I love the splash of color it adds to our home.

PedicuresΒ

On Monday, my friend and I went to get a pedicure. It was my birthday gift from her. What a treat! The place we had our nails done did an incredible job. My feet needed it badly from all the wear and tear this last month. My feet were soft and smooth when I left. I made a quick decision on color (which is unusual for me.) Bold and different is what I went with. I ended up really loving it!

Field Trip with Caleb

This morning, Caleb and I went to Kercher’s Orchard for his preschool field trip. We picked apples, fought off bees, enjoyed a hayride, exploredΒ a corn maze and chose a gourd. I loved watching Caleb explore the orchard and interact with his classmates. Β It was also cute how proud Caleb was of his β€œCheez It” snack.
