3 Reasons to Praise

I have been thinking a lot about praise lately. Why is praise important? Why do we need to praise? I believe there are so many reasons to praise God.

The bible is filled with scriptures about praise. Today, I share three of those scripture verses with you and the reasons to praise.

1. We praise you, God, we praise you, for your Name is near; people tell of your wonderful deeds. Psalm 75:1

We need praise God because He is God. He does so many wonderful deeds. God is near to us.

2. You are my strength, I sing praise to you; you, God, are my fortress, my God on whom I can rely. –Psalm 59:17

We need to praise God because He is our fortress. We can always rely on Him. God will never let us down.

3. “You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, that my heart may sing your praises and not be silent. Lord my God, I will praise you forever.” –Psalm 30:11-12

We need to praise God because it puts our focus on Him instead of our circumstances. No matter what is happening in our lives, we can have God’s joy. And that’s a reason to praise!

Praise
