Join the 5:17 Prayer Challenge and Boost Your Prayer Life!

Do you want to pray more? Me too! But all too often, I feel like I don’t have time to pray. That sounds awful and a bit prideful too.

Prayer is all about a relationship with God. It is not simply an activity.Β  When we spend time in prayer, we are deepening our relationship with God.

Prayer is also one of our most powerful weapons and yet I struggle to find time to pray. As I wrestled with God more on this, I realized that I was setting my expectations too high.

I imagined myself kneeling or face planted on the floor spending hours in prayer. No wonder I feel like I can’t succeed with prayer. Though I would absolutely love to be able to do this, the reality is in this season of life, it is not doable.

But, I can still pray. God encouraged my heart and reminded me that I can pray at any time of day. I do have time in my days to pray!

In 1 Thessalonians 5:17, we read β€œNever stop praying.” This verse used to confuse me and actually made me feel like a failure. How can we never stop praying?

I believe this verse is referencing our need to be in a habit of prayer. We aren’t able to necessarily pray every moment, but we can pray regularly. We can be in an attitude of prayer.

Do you want to learn ways to never stop praying? Do you want to discover new ways to pray with the time you already have?

I have so much more to share with you about prayer. When you join the 5:17 Prayer Challenge, you will see the many ways you do have the time in your day to pray no matter how busy you are.

The 5:17 Prayer challenge is about coming together and supporting each other to make prayer a priority in our day. To bring our prayer requests before the throne of heaven and watch big things happen.
