Olive Garden, a Sunset and Coffee
Wow! Itβs already March We enjoyed a full but fun February. How did your February go? Today is my monthly Friday Favorites post where I share my five favorite things from the previous month. Olive Garden, a Sunset, and Coffee are just a few of my favorite things from this past month. Read on to see what my other favorites are.
Olive Garden
Pasta has always been my all-time favorite food. After discovering my food allergies in April of 2015, eating out at an Italian Restaurant was no longer an option. This was tough for me being the pasta-loving girl that I am. Every so often I would check with Olive Garden to see if they served Gluten Free pasta. After a while, I just stopped checking.Β But, the other day, we decided to look and see if they had GF pasta. And they did!! Jonathan and I had our Valentineβs Day dinner there. Oh, my! It was delicious! What a treat!!
A Sunset and Coffee
On my way to meet a friend for coffee, I marveled at Godβs handiwork. The sky was absolutely breathtaking!! I also enjoyed time with my friend Kristi catching up.
Locks of Love
Our oldest daughter Micaela decided to donate her hair to Locks of Love. I was blown away by her compassion and desire to bless someone else. It challenged me in so many ways. It was precious to go to the post office together to send off the package.
Daddy Daughter Dance
Our churchβs youth group hosts a Daddy Daughter Dance around Valentineβs Day every year. The girls look forward to this dance so much!! I love how Jonathan cherishes our daughters in this way. Our girls know how valuable and loved they are. The boys and I had fun with dinner and a movie while they were gone.
Why Her?
I’m privileged to be on the Why Her? Launch team. Why Her? by Nicki Kozairz is about comparison and how to combat it. This book has challenged me and opened my eyes to how much I compare. I am so thankful for Nicki and her insight. Why Her? will be released on Tuesday, March 6. I highly recommend that you pre-order a copy today. Look for my review of Why Her? on March 6 on the blog.
I hope you enjoyed reading about the five things I am grateful for this past month. It was fun writing about it all. How about you?Β What are you grateful for this past month? I would love to hear about your month. Please share in the comments below. Have a great weekend!
