Wow! It’s already November! We enjoyed a full but fun October. How did your October go? Today is my monthly Friday Favorites post where I share my five favorite things from the previous month. Tomorrow is my 40th birthday. Four decades old. Wow!  I am excited to celebrate and reflect on the many ways God has worked in my life these last forty years. God’s Word has played a big role in my life.

I really think Snow White was onto something with this song. Music really does make work more fun. How can we incorporate music into our work? Today, I am going to share three ways we can use music in our days.

When is the last time you prayed for someone you didn’t know? It seems a little odd to pray for someone you don’t know but it can be one of the greatest gifts you can give them. In today’s post, I am going to share about the importance of praying for someone you don’t know. My in-laws did this without even realizing the impact of their prayers.

Before a plane takes off, the flight attendants review the protocol about what to do if there is an emergency. They remind you that you must put your mask on first. Why? So you can take care of others. This reminds me of being a Mom. In order to take care of our kids and love our husband well, we must take care of ourselves first.

Hocking Hills, OH, Ludington, MI, Fort Wayne, IN or a hotel across town. These are just a few of the places we have gone for our anniversary getaways. This past weekend, we took time away as a couple. I believe that getaways are vital for the marriage relationship. Here are four reasons why.
