When is the last time you prayed for someone you didn’t know? It seems a little odd to pray for someone you don’t know but it can be one of the greatest gifts you can give them. In today’s post, I am going to share about the importance of praying for someone you don’t know. My in-laws did this without even realizing the impact of their prayers.

Before a plane takes off, the flight attendants review the protocol about what to do if there is an emergency. They remind you that you must put your mask on first. Why? So you can take care of others. This reminds me of being a Mom. In order to take care of our kids and love our husband well, we must take care of ourselves first.

Hocking Hills, OH, Ludington, MI, Fort Wayne, IN or a hotel across town. These are just a few of the places we have gone for our anniversary getaways. This past weekend, we took time away as a couple. I believe that getaways are vital for the marriage relationship. Here are four reasons why.

“Mom, can I have a muffin?” It was a simple question and one that caused me to pause. Micaela asked me this question in the middle of the afternoon. The kids had already had a snack so it’s not like Micaela was hungry. I responded, “Yes, you may.” She lit up and enjoyed eating her muffin.

By having individual time with your children. One on One time is important because it communicates value, builds the relationship, and helps behavior.

I have been thinking a lot about praise lately. Why is praise important? Why do we need to praise? I believe there are so many reasons to praise God. The bible is filled with scriptures about praise. Today, I share three of those scripture verses with you and the reasons to praise.
