Do you take your children to see Santa Claus? It’s a beloved tradition of many families. A visit with Santa Claus comes once a year and is anticipated by many. Did you know that every day you can bring your children to Jesus? Not in the physical sense but in prayer.

Goals. When you hear that word, what reaction do you have? Excitement, fear or dread? On December 31, my reaction was panic. Why? Because my goals weren’t done yet. Maybe your goals aren’t written or you’re still trying to decide if you even want to bother with goals. I believe goals are important. Today, I will share the why and the 3 M’s of Goal Setting.

It’s a new year! I absolutely love new beginnings! One of my favorite verses is Isaiah 43:19 which reads “For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.” It reminds me that God is at work in my life. This year, I want to discover, remove and adopt. Read on to find out what this means for my goals in 2018.

The end of 2017 is almost here. Is it just me, or did this year go fast? Honestly, it has been a great year. I am not who I was in January of 2017 and for that I am grateful.  God has worked in my heart to help me be more like Jesus. I am also thankful for the many fun memories of this year. Today, I am going to share a year in review; a final update on my 2017 goals.

Waiting for Mom and Dad to wake up. All coming downstairs together. Stockings. The same Christmas song record playing. Christmas Breakfast. The list of my childhood Christmas traditions goes on and on. When Jonathan and I began our family, we decided to keep some of our childhood traditions but also create our own.

According to my seven-year-old, I need new eyes. I giggled inside when Analiah told me this while at the library the other day. Earlier this year I had my contact exam. The doctor said my eyes are doing great. So why did Analiah think I needed new eyes?
